Flexilo® MAXI fabric tanks store large quantities of wood pellets without wasting space

Wood pellet plants with outputs of 50 kilowatts (kW) and above can now also benefit from flexible storage solutions thanks to the Flexilo® MAXI from A.B.S. Silo- und Förderanlagen GmbH, based in Osterburken, Germany. With a volume of up to 50 cubic meters, one Flexilo® MAXI can store a whole tanker truck of wood pellets. If storage for larger quantities is needed, up to five silos can be easily linked together to create a storage cascade. A cascade of two smaller silos, instead of one larger one, has the additional advantage that they can be fully emptied alternately, significantly reducing the build-up of fines.

The fabric tanks are not only easy to fill with fuel without creating dust, but also quick and easy to install. This means that the large Flexilo® MAXI storage silos can be up and running and ready to be filled in no time – even for pellet heating systems in large communal buildings, nurseries and schools.
